Premiere screening of The Brunswicks' new video "Hiding from the Outside"

The Brunswicks have just finished shooting their first music video, "Hiding from the Outside" as part of the intensive three day Music Video Mashup (MVMU) challenge, a film making competition where bands and film making teams are randomly paired up together and have just three days to create, shoot and edit a video clip worthy of the big (and small) screen!

Partnered with the extremely talented film makers (and purveyors of fine potato salad) Silver Screen Pictures, the band spent their long weekend posing for the camera in Toohey forest and at the gorgeous Wolston House.

To be among the first to see the fantastic results of this weekend of mayhem, get along to the screening and audience choice voting at Schonell Theatre, 7pm-9pm on May 13! Tickets are just $10, for booking information visit the MVMU site.

Otherwise Forever Album Launch

The Brunswicks are proud to announce the launch of their debut full-length album, "Otherwise Forever" with a hard release in Brisbane on March 12th at Club 299.

Drawing from a large pool of original work, "Otherwise Forever" features a strong selection of songs written by various members of the band, addressing themes such as isolation, alienation, belief and commitment. Despite their varied influences (ranging from Neil Finn and Radiohead to Evanescence), the band's easy synergy creates a cohesive and immersive sound full of infectious rhythms, uplifting guitar lines and soaring melodies.

Recorded in the tranquil surrounds of Mt Nebo at the White Room Studio, "Otherwise Forever" marks an important step in the Brisbane five piece's two and a half year history. After appearing regularly around Brisbane including at iconic venues such as the Globe and the Zoo, The Brunswicks look set to continue their growth with a number of extra gigs in the pipeline for 2010.

The Brunswicks invite you to the album launch performance at Club 299 in Fortitude Valley on Friday 12th March 2010 with local special guests Jackalpac (www.myspace.com/jackalpac) and Wipedoubt (www.myspace.com/wipedoubttheband).
